KCNQ1, KvLQT1 (potassium channel involved in long QT syndrome) is maternally expressed in humans and in mouse embryos. Its expression is imprinted in several tissues but not in the heart (Lee MP et al, 1997). A paternally-expressed antisense transcript has been reported (see KCNQ1OT1/LIT1).
