Snx14 (sorting nexin 14) showed exclusive paternal expression in laser captured neurons from four
postnatal day 21 CAST/EiJ x BALB/c F1 offspring (2 from each reciprocal cross)
(Huang H-S et al, 2015). In contrast whole
cerebral cortex showed no allelic bias. Neurons obtained by fluorescence activated cell sorting,
which showed "very little expression" of glial markers, showed biased, but not exclusive, paternal
expression (data not shown).
Currently there is insufficient data to confirm imprinting of Snx14.
