PEG3 (paternally expressed 3) is predominantly paternally expressed in brain (86%), kidney (85%),
and lung (86%) tissue from day 135 fetuses, indicating genomic imprinting (Duan J et al, 2018).
PEG3 expression in day 21 parthenogenetic fetuses was 0.2-fold that of control fetuses, further
indicating predominant paternal expression. In parthenogenetic chorioallantois it was 0.05-fold
that of controls (Thurston
A et al 2008).
