DMR analysis of the gene showed 3% methylation in sperm and 37% methylation in liver consistent
with imprinting of the gene and maternal silencing. Bisulphite clones harbouring both fully
methylated and fully unmethylated sequences were present for PEG10 (O'Doherty AM et al, 2011).
